This thematic collection brings together previously published JSOMER articles on social media addiction and problematic use. The collection is intended to support topic-based discovery across volumes and issues and will be reviewed as new JSOMER content is published.

Inclusion Criterion

Articles are included when problematic, compulsive, addictive, excessive, or dysregulated social media or smartphone use constitutes a primary construct, outcome, predictor, measurement target, or substantive theoretical focus.
