Studies examining psychological distress, well-being, loneliness, self-esteem, sleep, FoMO, fatigue, and related mental-health outcomes in social media contexts.

This thematic collection brings together previously published JSOMER articles on social media, mental health, and well-being. The collection is intended to support topic-based discovery across volumes and issues and will be reviewed as new JSOMER content is published.

Inclusion Criterion

Articles are included when mental health, psychological well-being, distress, loneliness, self-esteem, sleep, fatigue, social anxiety, or closely related psychosocial outcomes are central to the research question.
